“Two or three years ago, we were a manual timesheet company where people would actually fill out cards. We would obtain all those every week, and punch in the figures into Excel spreadsheets. By going onto Mitrefinch and an electronic card system, we have much more flexibility and it takes us probably a quarter of the time. The support team created a really good report for me. It allowed me to do an advance payroll process. When there’s a public holiday on a Monday, we have to do an advance payroll. That report allows me to look at shifts that haven’t actually happened yet and estimate what that person should be paid even though the week isn’t actually over yet.”
